So, my tagline is "I'm the freelance writer who gets tech". I regularly produce (hopefully) enthralling and insightful blog posts for my clients. These blog posts often advise people to write regularly on their area of expertise to engage and build a solid audience base. Looks like this freelance writer is a bit of a hypocrite. Why? Well, if you look at my own blog, you'll see that it's been nearly three months since I last wrote a post. Whoops. You see, I've been so busy with other people's blogs and various additional work commitments that I've forgotten about my own blog. I regularly come up with a range of fantastic topics to write about but my own blog writing gets pushed to the bottom of the to-do list. I've ignored my own advice. I think that tagline should be replaced with "I'm the freelance writer who's a bad blogger." Here's the deal. I'm going to make you a promise. I'm going to practice what I preach. I promise to write one post every week. I'm going to write a blog schedule NOW. I'm going to write a back catalogue of posts when I am too busy to write for my own blog.
I'm going to be "the freelance writer who loves to blog". I'm going to do better. I'm sorry!
